I'm about to start soldering input jacks, and I'm a tiny bit confused. I have the full 56 input kit, and is the only mono jack supposed to be jack 2 (kick)? so 1st stereo, 2nd mono and then all following stereo jacks?

There is a list somewhere of the pin outs - can't remember where though. Sorry
